| "This paper describes the results of a centrifuge test that was conducted while varying the interval of landslide restraint piles and the physical properties of landslide mass to examine the effects of pile interval and physical properties of landslide mass on the failure of soils between piles. Also methods of determining the pile interval were studied through FEM analysis. It was found that the pile interval for preventing soil failure from extending beyond the space between piles varies according to the physical properties of landslide mass, and that the interval should be narrower for smaller cohesion (c) and internal friction angle (?). It was also revealed that an optimum interval of piles can be determined through FEM analysis." |
