| Lake sediment qualities in four lakes with differing lake basin populations and levels of water pollution control countermeasures were measured and compared. The lakes are rather shallow preventing formation of significant stratification, and they have suffered or are now suffering from eutrophication. Nutrients release rates from the sediment under aerobic condition basically corresponded to the liquid phase concentration trends in the sediments. |
