| In order to assess the flood risk changes in the future, a system applicable to basins of various scales in the world is developed in this study. In the system, output of 20km mesh super high resolution General Circulation Model (GCM20) from Meteorological Research Insitutute (MRI) of Japan, a distributed hydrological model (BTOP model) and risk analysis component are integrated. Stream networks used in the system with 12 diffeerent scales ranging from 90km to 20km meshes were produced based on a simple scaling algorithm to conserve the original 90m information. This result in littel resolution effects in simulation with different grid scales. Furthermore, an assessment of future flood changes for large river basins in the world was well demonstrated as preliminary application of developed system. According to this result, feasibility of assessment of future flood changes using developed system is also shown. |
