| Application of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) for hard rock excavation is considered as the rational and economical method of constructing tunnel because rapid excavation and installment of rational support by TBM leads to reduction of construction cost. In PWRI, some investigations were performed with the data through TBM excavation in Japan. In this report, the examination of design method about tunnel by TBM is introduced through the analysis of trouble during construction, machine data and results of field measurement. |
