| Electrochemical desalination is one possible method for repairing concrete structures deteriorated by chloride ion induced corrosion. However、a target and planning method for salination are not established. In addition、although the effects of residual chloride ions in de-salinated concrete are not clear、a certain amount of chloride ions can remain after desalination. In this research、concrete specimens treated with insufficient desalination were exposed out-doors in order to study the durability of concrete members repaired by desalination. As a result、the corrosion of steel bars was inhibited、while significant amounts of chloride ions remained. Though in some specimens、cracking was occurred due to the alkali-silica reaction and was fa-cilitated by desalination. |
