| We carry out the dynamic strength tests for construction materials of Isawa dam under various conditions and conduct earthquake-induced deformation analysis using cumulative damage theory. We find that we can accurately reproduce the settlement of Isawa dam under construction due to the Iwate-Miyagi Nairiku Earthquake in 2008 and it is very important to accurately evaluate earthquake-induced settlement by using the laboratory test results considering saturated/unsaturated conditions in dam body during the earthquake. |
