| We selected mountain region of southern Niigata prefecture Japan， the hanging wall side of the Takada plains western margin fault. Hasi et al，.(2011b，this forum) analyzed various topographical factors of the per-existing landslide topography by using logistic-regression analysis. As a result， they showed that: surface roughness（SR）and marginal erosion ratio (MER) contributed to earthquake-induced deep-seated landslides (Suzuki et al.，2010).
