We selected mountain region of southern Niigata prefecture Japan, the hanging wall side of the Takada plains western margin fault. Hasi et al,.(2011b,this forum) analyzed various topographical factors of the per-existing landslide topography by using logistic-regression analysis. As a result, they showed that: surface roughness(SR)and marginal erosion ratio (MER) contributed to earthquake-induced deep-seated landslides (Suzuki et al.,2010).
