The purpose of this study is to develop effective coagulation method for turbid water in a reservoir and to clarify the effects of zeta potential on coagulation performance. Through the experiment, we have obtained three findings. The first is that both distribution of coagulant and circulation of turbid water are indispensable. The second is that pH of allophane solution should be arranged to be acid if distribution procedure is omitted. The third is that the allopane has a limitation of coagulation performance and the performance of coagulation can be evaluated by measuring zeta potential of turbid water, coagulant and sediment. |
