The treatment performance of thermophilic anaerobic digestion (AD) of sewage sludge with high solid content was investigated. This indicated that AD at higher TS content could support higher organic loading rate (OLR) and achieve higher methane yield. The high-solid AD process was shown to be an economical method for sewage sludge with lower transport cost and higher methane yield. |
