Short-term exposure of medaka was carried out to evaluate the effects of sewage sample on gene expression. Male and female medaka were exposed to dechlorinated tap water, untreated sewage water, activated sludge treated water and chlorinated activated sludge treated water of residual chlorine 0.2 mg/L for 96 hours. The gills were sampled from each fish after exposure. The levels of gene expression were measured using a one-color DNA microarray. |
