We have carriedout laboratory experiments and field tests to examine hydraulic characteristics and applicability ofthe pipe. We compared the results of the laboratory experiments (with pipe diameter: 60 mm, 100mm and 200 mm) and the results of the field tests (with pipe diameter: 200mm) at an actual smallreservoir located in a mountainous area. As a result, the hydraulic characteristics were found. It was confirmed that this kind of pipe could be applied to remove noncohesivedebris-less sediment material in a small reservoir. |
