Cables covered with polyethylene used for cable-stayed bridges have highanti-corrosion performance, but it is difficult to grasp the condition of theinternal wires when the polyethylene is damaged. Therefore, temperature andhumidity inside the cable and steel pipe measured in order to clarify thebehavior of temperature and humidity that is affected the cable corrosion whenthe polyethylene was damaged. As the result, it was clarified the difference inhumidity behavior between steel pipe and cable, and grasped the trend oftemperature and humidity inside the cable. |
