When a landslide disaster occurs, investigations and measurements are carried out to establish a warning andevacuation system and implement emergency measures. In this case, it is important to understand the overallpicture of landslide disaster based on the three‐dimensional location of the landslide topography and itsdeformation, and to consider countermeasures. The point cloud obtained by UAV‐SfM can be used for thispurpose. The point cloud helps us to understand the overall picture of the disaster because it can represent theshape and color of the terrain and objects in a three‐dimensional manner. The landslide model with pointcloud is a "virtual landslide" that enables us to investigate the landslide situation from any viewpoint. It isimportant to share information with related organizations in disaster response. Sharing the landslide model willhelp us to understand the situation more quickly, and if we share the landslide model through web conferencesystem, we can discuss with related organizations and get technical support from experts. In this paper, wereport the results of the study on the use of UAV‐SFM point cloud data for landslide disaster response. |
