In this paper, the computational fluid dynamics analyzes behavior of temperatureand humidity inside of the cable covered with polyethylene. First, thecomputational fluid dynamics analyzes temperature and humidity in the crosssectionaldirection in the cable for which the temperature and humidity weremeasured. Next, the computational fluid dynamics analyzes temperature andhumidity in the extension direction assuming installation of the cable in the actualbridge. As a result, it was found that the unique behavior of temperature andhumidity inside of the cable can be reproduced by considering the delay of phasechange due to the complicated cross-sectional configuration inside the cable as acoefficient. |
