Shallow seismic reflection survey data, which had been obtained in 1985 at the confluence of the Yodo River, were reprocessed and re-interpreted to reveal the near surface deformation structure at the site. The site is characterized as a junction of major active faults in Kinki District. The reprocessed reflection section delineated a flexure showing east side upheaval at the shallow depths. Whereas the reprocessed data were outdated in the view point of field acquisition parameter, they were still useful for the structural interpretation of the near surfaces by applying advanced processing. |
